1. Install iTunes

If your computer does not have iTunes already installed, you can download iTunes for free directly from Apple using this link. If your computer already has iTunes installed, update to the latest version to ensure compatibility.

2. Set-up for Podcasts

Once you’ve completed the iTunes installation, launch iTunes and select the “Podcasts” item in the far left Playlist area.

3. Settings

Next, click the “Settings” button located in the lower right corner of the iTunes window.

4. Specifying Downloads

From the new window that opens up, select the “Podcasts” tab. Change the settings for “When new downloads are available” to “Download All” and click “OK”.

You can later change this setting back to “Download most recent one.”

5. Subscribing to the Podcast

Select the “Advanced” tab from the menu bar and choose “Subscribe to Podcast.”

In the window that appears, type (or copy and paste) the following into the URL field:

mypodcastpage.com/ccastd/feed

Click “OK.”

6. Enjoy!

You are now ready to download the podcasts to iTunes and sync to your iPod.

From iTunes, select “Podcasts” from the Playlist area. In the area to the right, you will see the podcast with an arrow to the left of it. Click the arrow to open the podcast playlist and “GET” each story on the list.

Connect your iPod to sync to iTunes.

From your iPod, choose “Podcasts” and select the story you want to listen to.
